Greenzie Wins 6th Annual Atlanta Startup Battle

Energy was buzzing last night at the 6th Annual Start Battle put on by Tech Square Labs. A rooftop party, great rap beats, and hundreds of entrepreneurs waited with bated breath as five judges deliberated over who would win the $100,000 check. At around 10:00pm, hosts Paul Judge and Allan Nance took the stage to announce not one, but two winners: Greenzie AND Permits.com  …and the crowd went wild.

Just over two months ago, Greenzie applied for the competition and quickly climbed the ranks amongst 500+ startups competing to win the 6th Annual Startup Battle. The 2-Day competition kicked off Saturday, April 6th with Charles Brian Quinn (Co-Founder and CEO) joined by Joshua Terrell (Robotic Systems Engineer) at a private Mentor Day. All of the top ten participants were invited to develop their ideas with seasoned mentors in prep for yesterday’s presentation day where they presented to active VC investors from Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, and Silicon Valley.

After sleeping on the win, CBQ said, “Thank you to everyone who came out to support us! Huge thanks to Paul and Allen at Tech Square Labs, and our amazing team. We are putting this prize money to work, helping free humans from repetitive outdoor labor. Let’s build something from nothing!”

In addition to winning the $100,000 investment, Greenzie and Permits.com also gain access to resources, mentorship, a network, and office space.
