Marketing and Operations Coordinator

Greenzie is hiring a Marketing and Operations Coordinator on our Operations Team to further our mission to free humans from repetitive outdoor labor.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Marketing and Operations Coordinator, your role will rarely be the same day-to-day, as you’ll be supporting several company functions aiming to further our mission to free humans from manual labor.

Some general responsibilities will include:

  • Crafting marketing copy and content, from press releases to blog posts to website landing pages, case studies, and videos
  • Supporting and managing aspects of both external and internal meetings (monthly Hack Day, customer visits, occasional team lunches, industry trade shows etc).
  • Spearheading the company’s outbound marketing efforts and social media channels
  • Leading efforts to streamline office operations and procedures with Director of Operations, updating and maintaining policies as necessary
  • Coordinating orders for equipment, Amazon, etc. and serve as the point person for general office needs and aspects of new hire on-boarding

This position will also involve some light support for our CEO: mainly help managing email inboxes, calendar invites, and takeaways from meetings and “brain dumps."

Since we’re a startup, we’ll also need your help in continuing to build a great company: if you want to be involved in other areas of the company, it’s up to you. From customer discovery to sales and marketing, the field is wide open for you to participate and help us fulfill our mission.

ABOUT YOU
As a candidate you already have:

  • Some experience drafting and shipping out excellent customer-facing content
  • Stellar organization skills and the ability to track down answers for questions you encounter
  • A high degree of comfort with ambiguity and the ability to prioritize Important Things First while balancing urgent requests
  • The ability to quickly master, document, and train others in new systems or programs

Experience can be gained over time, but passion, drive, and teachability will make you stand out in applying and in the job.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Calendar, etc).
  • Familiarity with task and team management tools like Slack
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Experience with CRM tools, like Hubspot, and Mailchimp are a bonus
